Know He is God Tee

A tee to remind you of God’s power and sovereignty that even enemies heed Him and all of creation fears Him. Therefore we can trust and rely on God as our refuge and strength during troubling times.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging… He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’” Psalm 46:1-3, 10

Psalm 46 starts by showing us God’s power by showing us by contrasting it with how the greatness and grandness of creation listens to Him. And they all obey Him. These parts of creation that humble us and remind us how small we are as human beings are the very things that fear God. That’s where our stillness and trust come from. It comes from knowing His power over all of creation. This same God tells us and reminds us to be still and know He is God. It is a reminder that God will be God and all will bow down to Him.

So will you release that control to God? Will you be still and let Him be God over your life? Yes. Yes we will.
