A regenerate new heart is God’s supernatural way to transform His people from the inside out. Sure someone can look put together, perfect, and righteous on the outside. But outward appearance doesn’t matter to God because He can see past those things. He looks straight into our hearts and sees the hidden thoughts on our mind. And to be honest—it’s not looking good.
So His plan is to get to the root of it and perform a major heart surgery for His people. God’s gonna achieve that by giving us a new heart and imparting the Holy Spirit to live inside those who want God. And slowly they will desire whatever is good, pure, and holy just like how God the Father does.
