This shirt can be translated to read “my life changed when I believed in Jesus.” This phrase was inspired by the song “Thaum Kuv Ntseeg Yexus” by Kx. Txawj Pes Vaaj, a Hmong pastor. Hmong Christians have left old traditions behind, live a life of freedom and peace from spiritual oppression (shamanism), have a valuable respect for woman in their families, and deeply know that they are unconditionally loved by the Creator God.
EST 1950: “established in 1950.” This was the year when the first Hmong man gave up his life to Jesus Christ because of the gospel being proclaimed to our people from American missionaries that were part of the C&MA.
